About the Position

Exciting locum opportunity for a Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to join a high-performing IR team in Lansing, Michigan ! (21805)

📅 Assignment Details:

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based

• Schedule: Day shifts with Q3 call coverage (every 3rd weekday & weekend)

• Call Ratio: 1 out of 3 Interventional Radiologists

• Estimated Credentialing: 90 days (fast-track available)

👩‍⚕️ Team & Support:

• 3 Interventional Radiologists + 2 APPs

• Dedicated IR manager supporting the team

• Primarily adult patient population, frequent geriatrics

• Trauma Level I

🩹 Procedures You’ll Perform:

• Angioplasty & stent placement

• Embolization & thrombolysis

• Needle biopsies

• Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)

• Additional preferred: orthopedic, gyn, and urology cases

💻 EMR & Documentation: Not specified
📈 Avg. Cases Per Day: 8

✈️ Travel & Lodging:

• Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate

• On-campus lodging provided if needed

✅ Requirements:

• Board Certified in Interventional Radiology

• Active Michigan medical license

• BLS & ACLS certifications

• Local provider only (mileage reimbursement only)

• Clean malpractice & license history highly preferred
