Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise measurements on manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain a wide range of measurement tools and test equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements for inspection.
- Document measurement results, calibration records, and non-conformance reports accurately.
- Troubleshoot and resolve measurement discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality.
- Develop and optimize CMM programs for automated measurement routines.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in using a wide range of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs, optical comparators).
- Strong understanding and practical application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and accurately interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Experience performing calibration, verification, and maintenance of measurement equipment.
- Knowledge of quality control systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) relevant to manufacturing.
- Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Qualifications
- Advanced CMM programming experience (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS).
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab) for Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Experience with advanced or specialized metrology equipment such as laser scanners, vision systems, or optical comparators.
- Familiarity with CAD software for model-based inspection and fixture design.
- ASQ Certified Calibration Technician (CCT) or other relevant industry certifications.
