Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

About Us:
Tri-County Pain Consultants is a leading pain management practice dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based care. We are seeking a skilled and motivated EMT to join our team in the procedure room, assisting physicians with interventional pain management procedures.

Position Summary:
The EMT will work directly with the physician and clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care during procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical or procedural settings, possess strong attention to detail, and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physician during interventional pain management procedures
• Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Administer and monitor moderate (conscious) sedation per protocol and under physician supervision
• Continuously monitor and record patients’ vital signs before, during, and after procedures
• Operate and position the C-arm (fluoroscopy machine) during procedures
• Prepare and maintain sterile field and procedural supplies
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards
• Support recovery and discharge processes post-procedure

Qualifications:

• Current EMT certification (State and/or National Registry)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous experience in a procedural, surgical, or pain management setting preferred
• Strong understanding of patient monitoring, sedation, and sterile technique
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clinical environment
• Excellent documentation and communication skills

Schedule:

• Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
• Part time or full time, negotiable
• No weekends or Holidays
