Key Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing and administrative employees.
• Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, and shift differentials.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and reporting requirements.
• Manage and process all payroll deductions, garnishments, and benefits contributions.
• Reconcile payroll data, general ledger accounts, and prepare related financial reports.
• Administer and troubleshoot the timekeeping system to ensure accurate data for payroll processing.
• Process new hires, terminations, and employee data changes in the payroll system.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience processing full-cycle payroll for a high volume of employees, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of federal and state payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency with major payroll software platforms (e.g., ADP, UKG, Workday) and integrated timekeeping systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, calculations, and reconciliation.
• Experience with complex pay structures common in manufacturing, including shift differentials, overtime, and incentive programs.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll for a unionized workforce or with collective bargaining agreements.
• Familiarity with time and attendance systems common in manufacturing environments (e.g., Kronos, ADP Workforce Now Time).
• Understanding of shift differentials, production bonuses, or piece-rate pay structures.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
