Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of Med Surg experience License: Valid Michigan nursing license required Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Level II Trauma experience Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a focus on Med Surg in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong clinical expertise and be able to collaborate with healthcare team members. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments. The role emphasizes patient-centered care focused on safety and quality outcomes. The atmosphere promotes teamwork and communication among colleagues. Time management skills and the ability to assist fellow team members are essential. Continuous professional development and lifelong learning are encouraged. Effective communication through collegial relationships and interdisciplinary collaboration is vital. New team members will receive support during their orientation as they transition into this role. Candidates must have a solid background in straight Med Surg nursing and Trauma experience. This position does not allow for floating or assignments outside of the Med Surg specialty.
