Seeking an accomplished IT Quality Assurance (QA) Manager to direct quality initiatives for our CAGE Program Support team. The IT QA Manager will design, implement, and oversee quality assurance protocols, ensuring rigorous standards for all IT systems, services, and deliverables in support of CAGE code registration and management operations. This pre-award opportunity is an excellent fit for a motivated leader experienced in federal government programs, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive IT quality assurance program for CAGE Program operations.
- Establish and document QA policies, standard operating procedures, test plans, and quality control workflows.
- Plan and execute regular audits and system reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with federal, agency, and security standards (including Section 508 and DLA requirements).
- Lead, mentor, and train QA analysts and IT support staff, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the identification, documentation, and resolution of system, data, and process defects.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives to senior leadership and project teams.
- Serve as the primary quality advisor to IT, Help Desk, and management teams; facilitate cross-functional quality initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
- Guide the implementation and validation of system/process changes and enhancements; manage regression and user acceptance testing.
- Analyze quality assurance data to identify trends, create corrective and preventive actions, and drive process efficiency across IT and customer service operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Quality Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT quality assurance, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing QA programs within IT and/or federal contracting environments—defense sector experience highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and frameworks (Agile/Scrum preferred).
- Familiarity with federal IT compliance requirements, such as Section 508 accessibility and federal information security standards.
- Proven leadership, team-building, and project management skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Relevant QA certifications preferred (e.g., CSQA, Six Sigma, ITIL, or equivalent).
