Software Developer

Bay Logistics is an accomplished supply chain management firm which provides comprehensive solutions for warehousing, transportation, distribution, and other logistics services. We are looking to add Developer to our team of IT Professionals. Where: Onsite inYpsilanti, Michigan. This is NOT a remote position. What will you do: You will build and maintain web-based applications using PHP, Go, HTML, JavaScript, and MariaDB, while playing a key role in developing scalable solutions, enhancing system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Where you will work: This mid-level position is based on-site, in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and provides support to users across multiple office and warehouse locations throughout the Midwest. Limited travel may be requested from time-to-time for onsite deployment or issue resolution. What you will bring to our team: 3+ years of experience in web development, preferred. Proficiency in: PHP (required) Go (Golang) for back-end services, strongly desired HTML / JavaScript (Experience with modern JS frameworks a plus) MariaDB (or MySQL) EDI preferred not required Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end logic. Familiarity with version control tools like Git. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications. Inventory/Warehouse Management Programs Solid problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to support users at all levels. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within a team.
