Wearelookingforadetail - orientedandinnovative MechanicalDesignResponsibleEngineer(DRE) tosupportinfotainmentdisplayintegrationforcutting - edgevehicleprograms.Thisroleisidealforsomeonewithstrongmechanicalengineeringfundamentals,experienceinautomotivesystems,andacollaborativemindset.

KeyResponsibilities

MechanicalIntegration

• AnalyzeandinterpretScoutdrawingreleasesforassignedcomponents.
• Conductdetailedtoleranceanalysestoensureseamlessintegrationofcomponentswithinvehiclesystems.
• Identifyandresolvepotentialfit,form,andfunctionissuesbeforerelease.
• Collaboratecloselywithdesign,manufacturing,andcross - functionalteamstoensurealignmentoncomponentintegration.

Verification&Validation(V&V)

• Participateincomponent,system,andvehicle -levelV&Vtesting.
• Investigatetestfailurestodeterminerootcausesandrecommendcorrectiveactions.
• Ensurecompliancewithallvalidationstandardsandsystemrequirements.

ComponentDesign&Analysis

• Performweightsimulationstoenhancesystem -levelperformance.
• ApplyGD& Tprinciplesinallcomponentdesignstoensureprecisionandmanufacturability.
• DevelopMeasurementandTolerance(MtD)plansforcriticaldimensionsandtolerances.
• Conducttolerancestack - upanalysistosupportrobustdesigndecisions.

PFMEAIntegration

• ReviewandinterpretPFMEAsforassignedcomponentsandsystems.
• Identifyandaddresspotentialfailuremodesearlyinthedesigncycle.
• Supportpreventativedesignimprovementstomitigateidentifiedrisks.

JobQualifications

Required:

• BachelorsdegreeinMechanicalEngineeringorarelatedfield.
• 35yearsofrelevantexperienceinmechanicaldesignengineering,ideallywithintheautomotiveorautomationsectors.
• Solidknowledgeofmechanicaldesignfundamentals,tolerancestack -upanalysis,andV&Vbestpractices.
• ExperiencewithGeometricDimensioningandTolerancing(GD &T)andMeasurement&Tolerance(MtD).
• ProficiencyinCADandengineeringanalysistools.
• Strongproblem- solvingskillsandattentiontodetail.
• Excellentcommunicationandteamworkabilities.

Preferred:

• Priorexperienceinmechanicalintegrationwithintheautomotiveindustry.
• ProficiencywithCatiaandCAEtools.
• Familiaritywithmaterialselectionandmechanicalproperties.
