Job Description

The Programmer Analyst position will work as contract resources for the State of Michigan - Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) supporting the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The resource will act in a developer and analyst role to provide maintenance and support for a variety of Michigan Department of Health and Human Services applications

Requirements

5+ years:

• .NET CORE 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C# experience.
  
• Experience developing with REST web service interfaces or Web APIs
  
• Experience with SQL including writing and maintaining complexSelect/Insert/Update statements.
  
• Experience with Agile / SCRUM processes and working in Sprint Development team.
  
• Experience working with GIT code repository software.
  
• Experience developing unit and regression tests.
  

3+ years:

• Experience with developing code to allow users to upload documents from a website.
  

HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery + 3

Desired Skills

5+ years:

• Experience developing secure websites using industry best practices(such as preventing cross site scripting or SQL injection attacks and coding logging into software functionality).
  

3+ years:

• Experience working with Azure DevOps / TFS using boards and coderepository.
  

Familiarity with SendGrid

Familiarity with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)

Familiarity with identity provider (IdP) integration using OpenID Connect (OIDC) or SAML

Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or equivalent for SDLC management

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's Degree
  

Location

• Accepting local candidates within 90 minutes of Lansing, MI ONLY .
  
• Position is a hybrid schedule with in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option.
  
• Working hours Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Must undergo a background check and drug screening for employment.
  

Employment Terms

• This is a W2 position
  
• 40 hrs per week
  
• HYBRID schedule - in office 2 days a week upon start and there is NO REMOTE ONLY option.
