Seeking a friendly, energetic, multitasking person to add to our team at a fast paced Urology center where providing excellent patient care is the highest priority. The position would be in our Rochester Hills office and may involve our local satellite offices.

Medical and service background, electronic health record experience, and knowledge of basic medical terminology are highly desired. The individual we are seeking must be a team player, have excellent writing and verbal communication skills, pay attention to details and be extremely reliable and responsible. Must be willing to go through a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 -$22.00

Financial Duties:

• Submitting insurance claims
• Processing payments

Typical end time:

• 5PM

Typical start time:

• 9AM

This Job Is:

• A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
• Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
• Medical Assistant training and experience preferred.

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Medical Terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical receptionist: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

• Handle all duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with patient and insurance companies as needed
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for exam
• Charting and inputting in the EMR

• Previous experience in healthcare
• Familiarity with medical Assistant duties
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
