Financial Institution Facilities Manager (Travel Required)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of a physical branch location and operational sites. The successful candidate must have at least two (2) years of demonstrated experience in bank operations or facilities management, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. This role ensures that all facilities comply with regulatory standards, meet operational needs, and provide a safe and functional environment for employees and customers.

Essential Duties:

  • Manage day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, vendor oversight, safety protocols, and physical security.
  • Ensure branch facilities and equipment are fully functional, well-maintained, and compliant with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee renovations, relocations, and new facility build-outs, including coordination with contractors, landlords, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain facilities-related policies, procedures, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Supervise facilities staff or external service providers to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Respond to emergency facility issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on facilities status, expenditures, and project progress.
  • Lead or support training related to workplace safety, emergency procedures, and facilities use.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Facilities Management, or related field; OR five (5) years of relevant industry or regulatory experience.
  • Two (2) years of managerial or supervisory experience in the financial or mortgage services industries, specific to facilities or operational functions.
  • Two (2) or more years of progressively responsible experience in facilities management or bank operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience in policy and procedure development, implementation, and training delivery.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly in a dynamic environment.

Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:

  • Familiarity with building systems, safety regulations, lease administration, and financial reporting.
  • Experience managing facility-related projects in a banking or regulated financial services environment.
  • Working knowledge of vendor management and budgeting tools

Travel Requirements: 100% travel.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $50 - $55.
