Revere plastics is looking to add on an additional 3rd shift candidate for the maintenance technician role. They are looking to move a 3rd shift guy to 1st shift but need to find his replacement first. We are looking for an individual with experience in plastic injection molding maintenance to work with the engineering and maintenance departments to repair, develop, evaluate and improve upon manufacturing methods to join our 2nd maintenance team. The technicians will be tasked with troubleshooting and performing repairs to hydraulic and electric machines, robots, and secondary equipment as needed. Troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and with minimal direction is essential for this position. Including: • Responsible for repairing and maintaining all plant equipment, buildings, and grounds. • Observe mechanical devices in operation and listen to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. • Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. • Ability to understand how robot programming works and able to make needed adjustments. • Troubleshoot press and robot issues in conjunction with Process Technicians as needed to assist. • Maintain records in compliance with quality procedures and equipment operating logs and properly document activities. • Complete preventive maintenance and update PM logbooks. • Follow safety standards and procedures according to OSHA and ANSI regulations. • Complete repairs on hydraulic systems, HVAC, conveyors, and pneumatic circuits. • Troubleshoot electrical issues, expert in wiring/re-wiring. • Develop and manufacture poke-yoke/alarm systems, where applicable. • Troubleshoot and repair failed machinery and control systems. • Troubleshoot and repair issues with automated equipment, including, but not limited to, Sensors, Servo controls, Power supplies, VFDs, I/O cards, Relays, HMIs, load cells, etc. • Read and understand PLC ladder logic for troubleshooting and making minor program changes. • Identify maintenance concerns and issues and work to assist with the resolution of issues. • Assist with new product launches.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Must Have: 8+ years of Plastic Injection Maintenance Experience Troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic systems Troubleshooting electrical systems to include sensors, limit switches, sequences machines and 24V - 480V Preventative Maintenance Experience diagnosing and identifying problems on machinery and then finding solutions to the problem Nice to have: PLC Troubleshooting (Allen Bradley) Robotic Troubleshooting (homing / EOA tooling) on Fanucs Pneumatics & Schematic troubleshooting Disqualifiers: Worked at Sur Flo or Revere Plastics in the past No plastic injection experience 3rd Shift: 10:30pm - 7am 5- 10 hours of OT each week Monday - Friday (rare Saturday)

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
