IT Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic IT Technician to join our dynamic team in Farmington Hills, MI. As an IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our technology infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations across the organization. Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of servers and network equipment.
- Monitor system performance and implement upgrades as necessary.
- Document technical procedures and user guides for reference.
- Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives.
- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications
Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role. 2 years minimum.
Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Experience in working in a hot Manufacturing environment is a plus.
