Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric.
- Monitor, interpret, and document patient status; manage invasive lines and hemodynamic monitoring as needed.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and respiratory support; assist with ventilator management and related therapies.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams; participate in rounds and update care plans.
- Provide supervision and guidance to CNAs/LPNs as assigned; ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance with standards of care.
- Recognize changes in patient condition, escalate promptly, and implement early interventions per unit protocol.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license verification for Michigan (LARA) required.
- 2+ years ICU experience required.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required; physical copies of certifications required.
- Resume showing ICU experience required.
- Skills checklist current within 1 year; documentation must meet specialty-specific requirements.
- TNCC or TCAR preferred; Travel experience preferred.
- Ability to work in ICU and Step-down (SDU) settings; willingness to work nights and on a 3x12 schedule.
- Complete the designated per diem application questionnaire and submit all required documents as part of the onboarding process.
