The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and machinery.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems, wiring, and lighting fixtures.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute work.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, electrical codes (e.g., NEC), and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Calibrate and adjust electrical components and sensors on production equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and installation activities.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems (e.g., motors, controls, PLCs).
• Strong understanding and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Experience with PLC programming, diagnostics, and HMI systems.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and advanced troubleshooting (beyond basic I/O).
• Proficiency in industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
• Robotics electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Certifications or advanced training in specific control systems (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) or VFDs.
