Job Title: Cabinet Installer
Job Description
This role focuses on high-volume cabinet installation across multiple multifamily apartment complexes in the Grand Rapids and Holland area. You will work on projects ranging from small 15-unit buildings to large 250-unit communities, delivering consistent, high-quality cabinet installations in a production-focused environment. The position emphasizes efficiency, accuracy, and craftsmanship while completing 3–5 units per day.
Responsibilities

- Complete cabinet installations in a production environment, typically finishing 3–5 units per day while maintaining quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and project plans to ensure accurate cabinet layout and installation.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to measure, cut, fit, and secure cabinets.
- Perform finish and trim carpentry work to ensure cabinets are properly aligned, leveled, and securely fastened.
- Coordinate cabinet installation work within active construction sites, working alongside other trades as needed.
- Inspect completed installations to confirm proper fit, finish, and functionality, making adjustments as required.
- Follow construction site safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with general labor tasks related to cabinet installation, fabrication, and framing as needed to support project completion.
- Communicate progress and any issues encountered on-site to the appropriate contact to keep projects on schedule.
Essential Skills

- Proficiency in cabinet installation techniques, including measuring, leveling, anchoring, and finishing.
- Experience with finish and trim carpentry, ensuring high-quality fit and finish of installed cabinets.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings related to cabinet layout and installation.
- Skilled in the safe use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in cabinetry and construction.
- Experience in carpentry and construction, including familiarity with framing and general labor tasks.

- Knowledge of basic fabrication techniques related to cabinetry and trim work.
- Comfort working as part of a construction team and coordinating tasks with other trades.
- Reliability and punctuality to support a consistent five-day work schedule.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Why Work Here?
You will join a stable, full-time opportunity with a consistent five-day workweek, providing reliable, ongoing work on large-scale multifamily projects. The role offers the chance to work directly with the hiring company, rather than through short-term assignments, giving you continuity and long-term project involvement. You will build your experience in a production-focused environment, sharpening your carpentry and cabinet installation skills while contributing to substantial residential developments.
Work Environment
Work takes place in active apartment complexes, ranging from 15-unit buildings to large 250-unit communities in the Grand Rapids and Holland area. You will work primarily on construction sites, moving between units throughout the day to complete cabinet installations. The environment involves regular use of hand tools and power tools, and you will be working around other trades in a typical construction setting. Expect a structured five-day workweek with full days on-site, performing hands-on installation, finish carpentry, and general labor tasks in partially completed or newly built apartment units.
