Hi-Lo Driver Shipping and Receiving

As a Hi-Lo Driver in Shipping and Receiving, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of materials throughout the facility. This position is essential to maintaining accurate inventory, supporting production, and upholding a clean and organized work environment. Responsibilities
- Safely operate hi-lo equipment to transport materials within the warehouse and production areas
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately
- Perform daily equipment inspections and promptly report any maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners and the MIS system
- Assist the Quality Department as needed
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of heavy materials and adherence to OSHA standards
- Ensure proper storage and organization of incoming and outgoing materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, supporting 5S standards
- Assist with general housekeeping duties
- Remain vigilant for potential safety hazards and report concerns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Supervisor
Qualifications
- Experience operating hi-lo or powered industrial trucks
- Basic mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs periodically throughout the shift
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and maintain positive working relationships
- Punctual and reliable attendance
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
