Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: B Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM (typical 40 hours/week), may require weekends, holidays, or extended hours to support project schedules.

Description

CTG's client is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer II to support equipment installation, startup, and troubleshooting in a solar wafer manufacturing environment. This role focuses on equipment performance, issue resolution, and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and operations teams to ensure efficient line startup and production readiness.

Scope of Position:

• Provide hands-on support for equipment installation, startup, and commissioning.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve equipment and process issues.

• Drive continuous improvement and ensure adherence to safety standards.

• May require off-shift work to meet project needs.

Requirements:

• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.

• Proven success supporting projects in a manufacturing environment.

• Data-driven decision-making and analytical abilities.

• Proficient with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience with equipment installation, debugging, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

• Mandarin language skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support equipment startup and make necessary technical adjustments.

• Analyze data and provide solutions to improve equipment performance.

• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.

• Develop standard work documentation and training materials.

• Promote safe work practices.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).

Experience:

• 2+ years required; 5+ years preferred in hands-on mechanical or manufacturing engineering roles.
