The Role

As a Server at Leila, you are more than an order-taker; you are an ambassador of our culture. You will guide guests through an elevated dining experience, expertly navigating our menu of traditional Lebanese flavors, craft cocktails, and an extensive wine list.

Key Responsibilities

• Expert Menu Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of our ingredients, preparation methods (including the wood-fired grill), and Lebanese culinary traditions.
• Beverage Proficiency: Confidently recommend wine pairings and describe our unique craft cocktail program and Mediterranean spirits.
• Precision Service: Execute seamless technical service, including coursing, table maintenance, and polished communication.
• Guest Connection: Anticipate guest needs intuitively, ensuring every table feels the warmth of a Lebanese home within a high-energy, refined setting.
• Collaboration: Work harmoniously with the kitchen and support staff to ensure impeccable timing and presentation.

Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a high-volume, fine-dining, or upscale-casual environment.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal communication skills and a professional, polished demeanor.
• Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for the "little things"—from a perfectly placed glass to the timing of a guest's next course.
• Adaptability: The ability to remain calm, graceful, and efficient during peak service hours in a bustling downtown atmosphere.
• Availability: Must be available for evening and weekend shifts.
