Corporate Accountant

Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to fill a newly created Corporate Intercompany Accountant opening with a rapidly growing company based in Troy, Michigan.

Requirements of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA license or public accounting experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and close processes.
• Accounting experience within a multi-entity manufacturing company is a plus

Responsibilities of the Corporate Intercompany Accountant

• Manage Intercompany Transactions and Intercompany Reconciliations & Eliminations – Prepare and maintain intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries as part of the monthly and year end close process.
• Support Month End and Year End Close Processes
• Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance – Support adherence to established transfer pricing policies and documentation requirements in partnership with tax and finance teams.
• Facilitate Audit and Compliance Efforts – Provide audit support related to intercompany activity, including schedules, documentation, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Contribute to ERP Implementation – Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization efforts related to intercompany accounting, netting, and consolidation processes.
• Develop and Maintain Standard Procedures – Create and maintain detailed work instructions and process documentation for intercompany accounting activities to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Support Public Company Readiness – Assist in building scalable intercompany processes, controls, and documentation to support public company reporting requirements.
• Drive Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of intercompany accounting and close processes.
