• Office Equipment Available: Standard hospitalist tools and monitoring equipment.
• Specialty Backup Available: Excellent specialty support.
• Support Staff Available: Physicians, APPs, and nursing teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Licenses: Active Michigan License required (unlicensed presentations not accepted).
• Board: BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• DEA: Active DEA registration required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred.
• Experience: Hospitalist or Nocturnist experience preferred.
• Other Qualifications: Flexible schedule; comfort managing diverse patient populations; telehealth experience not required.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide nocturnist hospitalist coverage for Munson Medical Center.
• Manage adult and pediatric patients collaboratively with Med/Peds hospitalists.
• Respond to codes and rapid responses during assigned shifts.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based inpatient care in a closed ICU and step-down unit environment.
• Coordinate with specialists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to Munson Medical Center’s policies, credentialing standards, and EMR documentation requirements.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
