Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Point of Care
Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Type: Contract
Schedule:
Mon/Wed/Fri: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tue/Thu: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Overview: Seeking a skilled CMA to support a solo provider clinic. This role blends clinical and administrative duties, with emphasis on lab procedures and patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks
- Conduct blood draws and POC testing
- Record vitals and perform EKGs
- Assist provider during patient visits
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Handle onsite payments and medication processes
Requirements:
- CMA certification (active)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Experience in phlebotomy, EKG, and POC testing
- Ability to multitask and work independently
