Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine calibration of manufacturing instruments and test equipment.
• Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in accordance with quality management systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust precision measuring equipment to meet specified tolerances.
• Develop, review, and update calibration procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry standards (e.g., ISO 17025) and internal quality requirements.
• Manage and maintain the calibration master schedule and equipment recall system.
• Select, utilize, and maintain appropriate calibration standards and reference equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related technical field, or equivalent military/technical training.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing calibration of test and measurement equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of metrology principles, measurement uncertainty, and calibration standards (e.g., ISO 17025).
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting a wide range of calibration equipment for electrical, mechanical, pressure, and temperature parameters.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately document calibration results, generate certificates, and maintain calibration records using relevant software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ISO 17025 quality management systems.
• Proficiency with specialized calibration management software (e.g., Beamex, Fluke Met/Cal).
• Ability to perform minor repairs or troubleshooting on test and measurement equipment.
• Strong understanding of measurement uncertainty analysis.
