ProCare Therapy is hiring multiple Paraprofessionals (up to 10 openings) to support students in the Flint, Michigan area (Greater Detroit region) for the 2026–2027 school year. These full-time, school-based roles involve working with students across a variety of classroom settings, including special education, resource, and general education environments. This is a great opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting student growth and success.

• Full-time, school-based roles for the 2026–2027 school year
• Multiple openings across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Opportunities for 1:1 support and classroom-based assistance
• Mix of general education and special education environments
• Located within the greater Flint / Detroit metro area

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students throughout the school day
• Assist with classroom instruction and student engagement
• Support students with behavioral, cognitive, and emotional needs
• Work 1:1 with students or within classroom groups as assigned
• Assist with daily living activities, including toileting/diapering when required
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and support teams
• Help maintain a safe and structured learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Experience working with children or special needs populations preferred
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills

Must meet one of the following:

• Minimum 60 college credit hours
• Associate’s degree or higher
• Passing score on ETS Parapro Assessment (460+)
• SAT scores meeting required benchmarks
