Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Supervisor, Hybrid will lead the day-to-day AP operations across multiple manufacturing locations. This role is responsible for overseeing invoice processing, ensuring timely payments, supporting audits, and driving process improvements while managing and developing a team. Key Responsibilities- Supervise and mentor AP team members, including workload distribution and performance management
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable across multiple locations
- Manage high-volume invoice processing, 3-way matching, and coding accuracy
- Coordinate weekly payment runs (ACH, wire, checks)
- Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and resolve escalations
- Review and reconcile AP accounts, vendor statements, and aging reports
- Support month-end close and audit requests
- Partner with plant controllers, procurement, and finance teams across sites
- Maintain and improve AP processes, controls, and efficiency initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
- Assist with coverage during high-volume periods or team absences
- 5+ years of accounts payable experience (manufacturing environment required)
- 1-3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Multi-site AP experience required
- Strong understanding of full-cycle AP processes and internal controls
- Experience with large ERP systems (SAP, QAD, Oracle, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting audits (internal and external)
- Process improvement mindset with ability to streamline workflows
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration
