Heat‑Treat Fabrication and Repair Specialist (Industrial Welding)

Help power one of North America’s largest heat‑treat assembly operations in Wyoming, MI. Your precision welding and careful handling of customer parts will keep production moving safely and efficiently—while you build a career with competitive pay, benefits, and growth potential.
Your Impact
- MIG spot weld components and assemblies used in heat‑treat operations.
- Repair and maintain furnace baskets, fixtures, and related hardware.
- Operate a small press to form or adjust parts as required.
- Stage and prepare work; load and unload furnaces, bins, fixtures, and baskets.
- Complete paperwork and scan parts to ensure accurate tracking.
- Safeguard customer inventory—preventing loss and damage through careful handling.
- Assist with plant initiatives, including industrial cleaning and general support tasks.

Must‑Haves
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience.
- Strong attention to detail; able to follow procedures and accept feedback.
- Ability to stand for long periods in an industrial environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents and computer screens.
Preferred
- Basic computer skills for scanning and simple data entry.
Schedule & Compensation
- 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; overtime as needed. Operations may run 7 days a week at times.
- Pay Range: $22–$26 per hour.
