Job Title: CNC Programmer
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer responsible for the programming, setup, and operation of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines. This role involves completing a variety of one-off and custom projects, machining metal, plastic, and some composites.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC machines from scratch using CAD/CAM software (primarily WorkNC and HyperMILL).
• Program controls to produce high-precision components, primarily using Heidenhain but also Fanuc and Fidia.
• Create part models and generate toolpaths for CNC machining.
• Set up machines, including tooling and fixturing, based on project requirements.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of machined parts through inspection and adjustments as needed, including first-run parts and sample workpieces.

• 5+ years of experience with CNC 3 & 5 axis programming, setup, and operating machines independently.
• Strong proficiency with Heidenhain controls; experience with Fanuc and/or Fidia is a plus.
• Experience programming from scratch using WorkNC and/or HyperMILL CAD/CAM software.

• Experience with Haas machines is a nice-to-have.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is desirable.

Work Environment

Work in a 65,000 square feet, temperature-, vibration-, and access-controlled machining space equipped with advanced CNC machines. The facility is well-lit and clean. The shift hours are from 6 pm to 6 am, with a 10% shift premium.

This is a Permanent position based out of Macomb, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
