Position Overview

The CLS Athletic Field Technician is responsible for the maintenance, care, and enhancement of athletic field turf and grounds, working with various tools and equipment to ensure grounds are well-maintained and visually appealing. This is a seasonal position, depending on the regional location.

Job Duties

• Mow, edge, and trim grounds, including layout painting of athletic fields.
• Operate and maintain power mowers, edgers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Utilize hand tools for various tasks including planting, mulching, and trimming.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure proper use of safety equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in the field.
• Ability to complete Davey Carer Development Program (CDP) books and required safety courses upon hire.
• Ability to operate power equipment.
