Job Summary

We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Parts and Service Department Associate to assist customers with parts sales, manage repair intake, and support daily operations of our service department.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer and answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Assist customers in-store and by phone with finding the right parts for lawnmowers, zero-turns, and other small engine equipment
• Use parts lookup tools, catalogs, and diagrams to identify correct part numbers
• Write service tickets and coordinate equipment repairs with technicians
• Receive, organize, and stock incoming parts inventory
• Maintain accurate records of sales and service orders using POS system
• Communicate repair status and timelines to customers
• Keep the parts counter and service area clean and organized

Qualifications

• Prior experience in outdoor power equipment, small engine parts, or auto parts sales preferred
• Basic mechanical knowledge of small engines (2-stroke and 4-stroke)
• Familiarity with brands like STIHL, Briggs & Stratton, Kawasaki, Kohler, Toro, MTD, etc.
• Comfortable using computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule

• Business Hours: Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm, Sundays 10am-4pm
• Monday - Friday, Alternating weekends.
• Optional overtime available during peak season
