- Support your established customer base with best-in-class mortgage products and services. We're proud to close loans in an average of just 23 days!
- Build and lead a team of successful Mortgage Loan Officers within the Southeast Michigan market.
- Be the face of Mercantile Bank in your community and partner with a dedicated team of bankers, treasury management specialists and government bankers to provide Mortgage solutions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations.

A Look into Your Day
As a Producing Mortgage Market Manager at Mercantile Bank, you will thrive in a highly dynamic role where you will balance personal mortgage originations with effective team leadership. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include originating first and second mortgage loans while fostering relationships with realtors, builders, and financial planners to enhance your referral base. You will lead a team of 3-6 Mortgage Loan Officers, focusing on recruitment, training, coaching, and mentoring to meet the bank's objectives.
Additionally, you'll oversee loan applications, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high-quality submissions. Your role will also involve tracking mortgage pipelines, managing sales initiatives, and engaging in community outreach to solidify Mercantile's reputation as a preferred mortgage lender. By blending sales expertise with team management, you will play a crucial role in driving results and enhancing customer satisfaction, all while upholding our core values of integrity, excellence, and collaboration.

Requirements:
- 5 years mortgage sales management experience
- Must be an active producing mortgage sales manager
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field
- Strong business and banking acumen
