MCCU is seeking applications for an HR & Payroll Coordinator who thrives in a process driven environment, loves details, and communicates clearly and directly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teamwork, values confidentiality, and takes pride in getting things done right the first time.
What the job entails:
- Process payroll (a.k.a. ensure we all get paid correctly and on time).
- Provide support in benefits administration, including enrollment and answering staff questions.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee lifecycle documentation.
- Be a trusted go-to for confidential and sensitive information.
- Bring a steady, methodical approach to HR operations while still having a sense of humor about it all.
We're looking for someone with:
- Associate's degree in human resources, business administration, accounting or related field (minimum requirement)
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in payroll processing, HR support, or related administrative function (required)
- The ability to handle confidential information with integrity. (required)
- Experience with Paylocity (preferred) or similar HRIS.
- Familiarity with employment laws, benefits administration, and HR documentation. (preferred)
- A knack for accuracy and organization. We need someone who lives for checklists and thrives on structure.
- A communicator who is clear, factual, and dependable.
- Someone who enjoys teamwork but can take initiative, problem solve, and work through obstacles.
- Prior experience in the credit union space is a plus, but not required.
- Bilingual staff are always appreciated and are compensated accordingly.
