Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations for guest rooms, public spaces, equipment, and building systems. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong leadership and technical skills, capable of managing a small team while also performing maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, schedule, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure prompt, high-quality repairs and upkeep.
Perform and oversee preventive maintenance on systems and guest rooms.
Respond to urgent maintenance issues, including guest room calls and facility emergencies.
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized work.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Train team members on safety protocols and operational procedures.
Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk to prioritize work orders and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
3+ years of maintenance experience in a hotel, residential, or commercial facility.
1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform hands-on repairs.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lead by example and work flexible shifts, including weekends or on-call rotations.
HVAC or other trade certifications are a plus.
