Our client, Cone Drive is seeking a Machinist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, communications skills and problem solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Ludington MI

Pay Range: $22.25

What’s the Job?

• Operates CNC machinery (lathes, mills, grinders) to produce a variety of gearbox components (worms, gears, shafts, housings, etc.) in a low-volume, high mix environment
• Sets up fixtures and tooling for changeover on products
• Inspects finished to print using CMM, gages, micrometers, calipers, etc.
• Adjusts machine settings for offsets to account for tooling wear
• Works with machine programmers to optimize CNC programs

What’s Needed?

• Machinist experience
• High School Diploma
