Construction Superintendent

$85,000-$125,000 annually

At EJH Construction, we specialize in commercial and residential remodels, renovations, and restoration projects ranging from small-scale improvements to large, complex builds. With a reputation for quality craftsmanship, on-time delivery, and exceptional client service, we are looking for a Construction Superintendent to lead our projects from start to finish.

This role requires a hands-on leader with experience in all phases of construction, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage both local and out-of-town projects effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction planning through completion
• Supervise and coordinate crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and project timelines are met
• Manage both local and travel projects , including site setup, scheduling, and on-site leadership
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes and safety regulations
• Work closely with Project Managers and Estimators to review plans, budgets, and schedules
• Solve problems on-site quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to the schedule and budget
• Provide mentorship and leadership to foremen, crew leaders, and apprentices
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standard
• Ensure proper documentation of daily reports, change orders, and job site progress

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
• Strong knowledge of all phases of construction, including ground-up, remodel and renovation
• Skilled at managing schedules, budgets, and teams on both small and large projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for out-of-town projects as required

Essential Physical & Cognitive Requirements

• Continuous lifting, pulling, pushing of objects
• Ability to individually lift and/or carry 50lbs
• Ability to multi-task, read, write, calculate data have reliable & predictable attendance
