Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Speech Language Pathologist position is available in a K-12 public school setting located in Detroit, MI. This contract role is scheduled for the next school year and involves working on-site to support students' communication development and academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students referred for speech and language services, conducting initial and reevaluation assessments consistent with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams during IEP meetings to develop appropriate goals and service plans.
• Provide speech therapy services, typically scheduled between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., ensuring individualized support based on student needs.
• Utilize EdPlan system for documentation, data tracking, and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with state and district mandates regarding special education services.

Qualifications:

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license and certification.
• Experience working with K-12 students in educational or clinical settings.
• Proficiency with IEP development and participation.
• Familiarity with EdPlan or similar case management systems preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in a school environment and a flexible part-time schedule.
