Maintaining network integrity through preventative maintenance ensures you stay fit and OSHA-compliant, ready to conquer high-altitude cell towers over ninety feet tall. Engage in troubleshooting, operate a variety of company vehicles like side by sides and snowcats, and tackle daily challenges alongside a dedicated team in remote environments. Install, test, and monitor vital equipment-think cellular radio units, antennas, and various power supplies-while navigating harsh conditions. First and foremost, a competent climber certification is highly preferred, ensuring you can safely navigate cell towers and conquer heights with ease. A solid foundation in electrical or electronic technology, such as an A.A.S. A degree or relevant experience as a cell site or microwave technician will set you up for success. Your aptitude for continuous improvement will be your guiding star, as the role demands you to learn and adapt to ever-evolving technologies. Proficiency in specialized software and tools is also essential, enabling you to install, test, and monitor critical network components.
