Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabrication technicians.
• Oversee daily fabrication operations and production schedules.
• Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and engineering specifications.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and material utilization.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Extensive hands-on experience in various fabrication processes (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, machining).
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality control standards, material properties, and safety protocols.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Experience with setup, operation, and routine maintenance of fabrication machinery.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for design review and machine programming.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Certified Welder (e.g., AWS, ASME) in specialized processes or materials.
• Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication equipment.
