CNC Lathe Operator

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of CNC lathe operating experience (preferred, must have some experience with CNC Lathe)and be capable of producing high-quality precision components while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC lathes safely and efficiently to produce parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Perform machine offsets and make necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect and verify part quality using precision measuring instruments and quality control procedures.
- Change cutting tools as needed and ensure tooling is properly installed and maintained.
- Monitor machine performance and identify issues affecting production or quality.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience performing machine offsets and making program adjustments as needed.
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Ability to inspect parts and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Experience changing and maintaining cutting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and metalworking fluids.
