Position: ALLIED-Respiratory Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.

• Utilize performance metrics to track and improve personal success.

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations in all procedures.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

• Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and best practices.

• Provide support and mentorship to junior respiratory therapists.

• Engage in community outreach to promote respiratory health awareness.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Michigan.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Experience in administering respiratory therapy treatments in clinical settings.

• Proven ability to monitor and assess patient progress accurately.

• Knowledge of safety and health regulations in respiratory care.

• Strong communication skills for educating patients and families effectively.

• Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes.
