Salary Range: $47,000 - $78,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, etc.) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and G-code programs.
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Load and unload parts, ensuring proper fixturing and tooling.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and G-code/M-code programs.
• Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) for quality control.
• Strong understanding of tooling, offsets, and fixture setup.
• Knowledge of various metal properties and machining processes.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam)
• Experience operating and programming multi-axis CNC machines (4-axis, 5-axis)
• Basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, optical comparator)
