Customer Service Rep

We are pleased to recruit for a company whose corporate purpose is to create chemistry for a sustainable future and has been doing so for 150 years. Their portfolio ranges from chemicals, plastics, performance products and crop protection products to oil and gas. Their products and solutions contribute to conserving resources, ensuring nutrition and improving quality of life. Our client is expanding and seeking a Customer Service Rep in Jackson, MI.

Responsibilities:

· Manage customer service through the order fulfillment process.

· Responsible for ensuring that internal and external customers have a positive experience that meets or exceed their expectation while adhering to core business metrics.

· Serve as a primary point of contact for customers while collaborating with supply chain, operations, and credit teams to ensure accurate and timely order processing.

· This role involves providing customer support primarily by phone, collecting and forwarding customer feedback, and proactively managing the full order‐to‐cash process

Requirements:

· 2+ years Customer Service experience and knowledge of the order fulfillment process

· SAP experience

· Computer proficiency and ability to handle multiple Microsoft programs

Must have a valid driver’s license and current state required minimum vehicle insurance coverage to drive onto Client and Company property.

Education: High School diploma or A certificate or diploma in Business Administration or Marketing. With at least 2 years of experience in a business or customer service-related position.

Location: Jackson, MI 49201

Pay Rate: The pay range for this position is $22.00 – 23.00 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This pay information is being provided pursuant to applicable law and is based in part on market location.

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Length of Assignment: Contract – hire
