Outside Plant Dispatcher (Gillette)

Visionary Broadband seeks an accomplished, upbeat, and friendly individual to join our team as an Outside Plant Dispatcher. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. This is a part-time Monday-Friday 4 pm to 9 pm position with occasional Saturday work as well.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs daily routing of field service work orders
• Manages technician routes using established work order system to ensure customer commitment to installations are met.
• Using established procedures, notifications and updates Field Technicians on work/tasks or referrals in their designated areas.
• Navigate the billing system to build or edit work orders and confirm schedule availability for service calls, and new orders for Field Technicians in accordance with established procedures.
• Interprets data from the established workforce management system to identify current and potential scheduling conflicts.
• Completes, cancels or re-assigns work assignments for Field Technicians.
• Handles in-bound/out-bound calls for both internal and external customers and provides exceptional customer service.
• Contacts customers to confirm scheduled appointments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must possess the following skills, or have equivalent experience and/or qualifications:

Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers.

Must have computer experience and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Google Documents.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Must be available to work Monday -Friday 4 pm to 9 pm and occasional Saturday schedule.
