Metal Techician Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )

As a metal technician, you will work with a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminum and carbon steel projects. Duties include:

• Operate a variety of handheld metal finishing tools and machinery, including tumblers, belt sanders, and other finishing equipment.
• Assist other machine operators as needed on machinery such as CNC machines: shear and press brake.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations.Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform delivery driving duties for local customers using company vehicle.

Metal Techician Qualifications:

• At least one year of manufacturing experience preferred. (Willing to train)
• Basic math and mechanical aptitude. measuring skills. and critical thinking abilities. (Test is given at office)
• Ability to use measuring instruments
• The ability to read and understand blueprints and layout drawings is a PLUS (training available),
• Driver's License with no DUI or OWI (Required)

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
