EPC Cost Estimator

Looking for an EPC Cost Estimator in Jackson, MI. Join Our Client in protecting the environment and powering opportunity! You'll need 1-2 years construction estimating experience, relevant discipline knowledge, and software skills to help us make Michigan shine.

salary: $52.14 - 57.14 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive pricing estimates and complete quantity takeoffs for medium-complexity projects using industry-standard guidelines and estimating software.
- Evaluate proposal specifications and drawings, and attend project meetings to accurately determine the scope of work and required estimate contents.
- Coordinate the full estimating effort for assigned bids, organizing estimates into Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) categorized by material, labor, and equipment.
- Interface with owners, architects/engineers, and other contractors to supply essential engineering and cost data regarding project feasibility.
- Maintain detailed working documents as backup for estimate figures and collaborate with Senior Estimators to update cost databases.
