Plant Reliability Mechanic (Heavy Manufacturing)

Direct-hire role ensuring safe, reliable operations on our Rotating B Night Shift . Start at $30.26/hr with scheduled increases and a defined skills training plan.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, recording, and control systems.
• Install, maintain, adjust, calibrate, test, and service equipment and components.
• Read and apply prints, drawings, diagrams, manuals, and applicable codes.
• Perform layout, assembly, and wiring for new installs, replacements, and repairs.
• Conduct temperature and combustion surveys; record data and calculations.
• Use mobile equipment; erect/remove ladders and scaffolding as tasks require.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately.
• Comply with all policies and safety rules; meet Monthly Safety Leading Indicator goals under our Rewards and Recognition Program.

Must have

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment
• Mechanical troubleshooting and heavy equipment repair skills
• Experience with 120/208/240/480 VAC systems
• Ability to work from heights; operate power and hand tools; use diagnostic instruments
• Blueprint reading and clear written/oral communication
• Dependable attendance, safe work habits, positive attitude, and teamwork

Nice to have

• PLC experience
• Foundry background
• Experience performing machine safety inspections

Compensation & schedule

• Starting pay: $30.26/hr (direct hire)
• Rotating schedule: B Night Shift
• Progression: scheduled increases + skills training plan
