Lead SAP PPDS Solution Consultant

Job Description:

• Work on onshore/ Offshore model
• Good Communication Skills both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
• Understand customer, translate business needs to definition and design also cascade effectively to offshore team to get the work done effectively and timely

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
• 10 – 15 Yrs Manufacturing/Automotive domain experience preferred.
• Experience implementing Production Planning solutions (SAP ePP/DS) in an Automotive, manufacturing or any discrete industry is required.
• In depth experience in SAP – Production Planning and Detail Scheduling capabilities - interactive production planning, Detailed scheduling, Pegging, Production Planning table, Planning board, constraint-based planning, Model Mix Planning, Multilevel Scheduling and sequencing is required.

Must Have:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, information systems or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  
• End-to-end SAP PP/DS implementation ownership – Candidate must have led and owned at least one full E2E SAP PPDS implementation from initiation through go-live, not just participated in workstreams
• Deep hands-on SAP PP/DS (PPDS) experience – Must have direct, hands-on configuration and functional experience in SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS); PP-only or QM-only profiles are disqualifying
• SAP PPDS Optimizer experience – Must have specific experience with the PPDS Optimizer (constraint-based planning, heuristics, and optimization runs); this is a non-negotiable per hiring manager
• Advanced PPDS capability experience – Must have in-depth working knowledge of: interactive production planning, Detailed Scheduling, Pegging, Production Planning Table, Planning Board, Model Mix Planning, Multilevel Scheduling and Sequencing, Cross-Location Planning, Sub-daily Buckets, Telescopic Time Buckets, and Time Dependent Safety Stock

Nice to Have:

• Experience with E2E Supply Chain processes (Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management).
• Automotive manufacturing, Manufacturing, discrete manufacturing, or Repetitive manufacturing industry background.
• DSC Edition PP/DS experience (side-car S/4HANA system integrated with ECC via CIF) – noted as a client-specific context; genuine PP/DS experience in either DSC Edition or embedded S/4HANA is acceptable
