Position Overview:

The primary goal of our Roofing Technicians is to high quality work for our customers in order to meet their needs. Our Technicians are the front line of Summit Point Roofing.

Requirements:

• Ability to work occasional weekends and holidays

• Basic carpentry and construction knowledge

• Ability to lift 80#

• Ability to perform tasks that require climbing, lifting heavy materials, and working at heights.

• Dedicated to upholding company values

• Ability to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform production work, repairs, maintenance and emergency services on steep and low slope roof systems in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards of best practices.

• Conduct thorough inspections to evaluate existing roof conditions for areas of deficiency and and vulnerability

• Provide clients with service reports and detailed roof condition reports

• Provide service coordinator with service reports and detailed roof condition reports

• Use service management software for work orders and updates

• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment.

• Maintain vehicle inventory of materials, ensuring availability for jobs.

• Adhere to all policies, procedures and OSHA safety requirements

• Other duties as assigned
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a roofing technician or similar role (2+ years preferred).

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in roofing is a plus.

• A valid driver's license and clean driving record (preferred).

• OSHA 10, First Aid certified (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22-30/hr
