Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize manufacturing projects, defining scope, objectives, and resource requirements.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, production, quality, supply chain) to achieve project milestones.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues inherent in manufacturing operations.
• Communicate project status, progress, risks, and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes through project execution.
• Oversee vendor and contractor relationships for equipment, materials, and services related to projects.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex projects within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production lifecycles, and supply chain management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and ERP systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion, often involving new product introduction or process improvement.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex)
• Familiarity with CAD software or PLM systems (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Teamcenter)
• Experience with specific manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, injection molding, assembly automation)
• Understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100)
