Salary Range: $43,000 - $66,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs to verify product specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately, maintaining detailed records and generating quality reports.
• Identify, isolate, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment actions.
• Assist in root cause analysis for quality issues and support the implementation of corrective actions.
• Conduct product and process audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
• Support the calibration and maintenance of inspection, measurement, and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and quality control principles.
• Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document quality findings accurately.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with CMM programming or advanced vision inspection systems
• Previous experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace)
