Nesco Resource is looking for a Senior Level Maintenance Manager for a Metal Extrusion Client in Livonia, MI. This is a Direct Hire role. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!

Shift: 1st Shift, 5am to 3pm, Monday through Friday

Job Duties:

• Oversees and manages the Maintenance Department for both site locations
• Ensures all maintenance goals and services meet industry and customer quality standards.
• Plans and implements corrective actions to correct safety and production issues.
• Plans and oversees all repair and installation activities for all facilities.
• Maintains manufacturing assets and facility including parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, invoice approvals, and manages the department budget.
• Spearheads the Maintenance and Reliability initiative that mainly focuses on Preventive & Predictive Maintenance versus reactive.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
• Performs consistent maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
• Contributes to ongoing continuous improvement for all maintenance systems.

Position Requirements /Qualifications:

• 10+ years of working experience in Maintenance Management
• Engineering degree and/or experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Mechatronics, required
• Expansive knowledge of planning maintenance operations, extrusion processes, machinery and equipment launches
• Proficient understanding of technical various aspects including Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, electrical systems etc.
• Working knowledge of ISO regulations and Maintenance Management Systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills
• Commute to multiple company facilities and customers.
• Perform duties assigned include but not limit it to extensive standing, sitting in office environment.
